So, I rediscovered a life I led 4-5 years ago. I must say, I had such an easy time. I look at life now, think about college, work, and how busy life becomes after high school. I'm so attached to these old high schools times now- when we could eat all the food we wanted, walk (yes, walk!) to (almost) any place we wanted to go, and discover a new person to love every month.

I talked about this with Michael Bancroft at length (because I read his old xanga, too). We were really good friends then! I mean, like, journal-posting, reading each other's journals (I think he was the only one who religiously read my xanga back in the day), and eating pie ALL the time.

I also read Caroline's xanga. My goodness.. the things we cared about most in those days. Apparently, for me, it was food.

I read about my times with Toni, and I appreciate how our friendship has unfolded over the years. And I saw all these things about the Possie. HOW CAREFREE THOSE DAYS WERE!

I wrote myself a note today, though. It says, "Try to leave Los Angeles behind." I feel really behind on work and school and my motivation for the semester has hit a roadblock. I yearn for those times! Those lazy, great, lazy, naive, mercurial.. and might I add, lazy, times. We were all so young and stupid; myopic and careless; emotional and arrogant. I used to hate thinking about high school. Now, I love it.

I also read some of Toni's old LiveJournal posts. This made me LOL; but a lot of what Toni has in her LJ already makes me do that.

I also read a lot of my Xanga entries about Leng. They're hilarious, heart-warming, and surprising. I was a very different person 5 years ago; I have no reason to regret anything. I just smile at it all now.

Oh man. Chem midterm in about 3 hours. Oh man. Oh man. Oh man... Then an hour of leftover Taiko practice! =)

All right guys.. after Chem, I have 4 more midterms to go. College. In other news, one of my rats passed away. Her name was Hoa, and she was always dizzy because of this inner-ear infection she had since birth, which also caused her to be deaf. She was quite the fighter. So on Friday I received this text from Kimler: "Hoa died right in front of us. The time was 10:15. We're going to go drink for her."

I loved her dearly, and I entirely hope she lived a happy life. =)

i leave for my first class in about 10 minutes. it's Yongmudo. a self-defense course.

Thank goodness it's nothing too intense for the early morning.

However, from then on, it's rocky sailing.
